Sewing machines in conservatory classroom

NEW - Children's Classes

Moving on to Machine Sewing
aged 12-16 years

This is a follow-on class from our Simply Sewing class.  We will cover all aspects of using a sewing machine; from threading bobbins, what all the switches and knobs do as well as making some lovely projects. Students will build on their skills from the previous course learning to use the machines safely and creatively. It will incorporate measuring, cutting, learning new stitches and completing small projects.

Each child will receive 'Sewing Stars' as they complete each skill which they collect to be able to advance on to our next level of course - Handmade Style!

All equipment is provided and most materials and haberdashery except when children are making clothes for themselves.
